Termites or woodworms? Don't ignore the signs.
Termites (subterranean or drywood) are social insects, much more aggressive and destructive than common woodworms. They work in colonies of hundreds of thousands of individuals and devour wood from the inside, leaving the surface film incredibly intact. Very often, disaster is only noticed when a doorframe gives way, a baseboard crumbles, or a beam collapses.
Warning signs of an ongoing infestation:

Hollowed-out wood: When knocking on wooden surfaces, the sound is dull, and the material yields easily to pressure.

Soiled passages: Muddy tunnels running along walls or foundations (used by subterranean termites to navigate away from light and air).

Fallen wings and swarming: The sudden appearance of winged insects (often mistaken for flying ants) near doors and windows, especially in spring and fall.

"Shredded" wood: Unlike woodworms, subterranean termites don't make the typical holes or leave the typical light-colored powder, but instead devour the wood in layers, leaving it resembling overlapping sheets of paper.
Why Insecticides and Syringes Fail
Spraying chemical insecticides on visible termites or injecting liquids into the holes is completely useless against this pest. The queen, who continuously lays thousands of eggs, and the nucleus of the nest are often located underground or deep in the cavities, far from the visible area. Using commercial products or solvents will only alarm the termites, prompting them to abandon that single spot and forcefully attack another part of the structure. A smart strategy that exploits their very biology is needed.
The Bait System: Total Eradication of the Colony

Phase 1: Non-Destructive Mapping
We strategically place baiting stations (buried along the outer perimeter or installed directly on internal walkways). These stations contain a special active ingredient (chitin) that inhibits cell growth, which termites find more appealing than wood itself.
Phase 2: Installation of the Stations
The worker termites consume the bait and, unknowingly, carry it back to the nest to feed the rest of the colony, including the queen.
Phase 3: The "Trojan Horse" Effect
Within a few weeks, the inhibitor stops the insect from molting, leading to the collapse and total death of the colony. The stations will remain active and monitored over time by our technicians, serving as a permanent preventative barrier against future attacks.
Phase 4: Collapse and Continued Protection
We protect roofs, lofts, window frames, and parquet floors. The bait system is discreet, doesn't produce unpleasant odors, and doesn't require you to leave your home. The active ingredient is contained within safety stations inaccessible to children and pets (dogs and cats).
